Dr. Michael Gergovich
At the age of 12, Dr. Mike suffered a back injury playing basketball with his friends. After countless trips to the doctor, his back pain never seemed to go away. Finally, his parents decided to take him to a Chiropractor. After his first adjustment, he could feel his pain already slowly fading away.
This was when Dr. Mike decided he wanted to become a Chiropractor. After graduating from LaSalle-Peru High School, Dr. Mike attended Illinois Valley Community College for his prerequisite courses. He majored in biology at Loyola University in Chicago before moving to Davenport, Iowa to attend the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic.

During his time at Palmer, Dr. Mike had the opportunity to study abroad in Vietnam and provide Chiropractic care to the local residents. He spent two weeks there getting to know these patients, learning about the culture and visiting the country.
Dr. Mike graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2010 and interned back in Peru, Illinois. He moved to Naperville and served the southwest suburbs for four years before making the decision to move back home to the Illinois Valley and take over for Dr. William Judge at Judge Chiropractic Center.
The practice officially changed to Gergovich Family Chiropractic in December 2018.
Wendy Kinczewski
Office Manager, Chiropractic Assistant
Wendy started working at Judge Chiropractic Center in 1989. She has the Medicare Part B certification as well as a Chiropractic Assistant certification. When you walk into our office, Wendy will be there to greet you with a smile and help you throughout the process, including scheduling your appointment, verifying medical insurance benefits and answering any questions you may have. In her free time, she loves traveling with family and friends (especially to Nashville), dancing and boating.
Jon Lowers
Licensed Massage Therapist
Growing up with family in the medical field had a huge impact on Jon's decision to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. He graduated from IVCC and earned his state massage license shortly after. He continued his education to receive a certificate for advanced clinical massage therapy and associate's degree in applied science in therapeutic massage. Before joining the team at Gergovich Family Chiropractic, Jon practiced for an orthopedic facility as a full-time orthopedic massage therapist. Jon is also trained in Cupping, Music and Tuning Fork Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and more. In his free time he enjoys collecting musical instruments and is very passionate about music.

Keri Claggett
Chiropractic Assistant
Keri joined our team in 2019, trading dental care for chiropractic care. She has a passion for healthcare, having been a certified dental assistant for nearly 30 years. Patient care and interaction with others is truly what brings a smile to her face. Keri and her husband, Dave, love to spend time with their adult children and pets and working in their yard. When they aren't renovating another area of their Peru home, they love to travel.

Chiropractic Assistant
Michelle has worked in the healthcare field for over ten years. Prior to joining our team in 2023, she worked for our local hospital. She is a nature lover and wildlife enthusiast. She spends as much time outdoors as possible, whether it's gardening, hiking or just relaxing with family and friends around a calming bonfire.
